This post is actually about a few of my favorite things, but also I feel the need to address the fact that I love naming my favorite things. It's weird. I know it's weird. I'm cool with it. You have already been introduced to The Amazing Crown Lamp, so I thought it might be fun to share a few of my favorite things with you!
First, is my gigantic 13.25 qt Le Creuset cast iron pot. I had been wanting one of these for a loooooong time, partly because Ina Garten uses them on her show and I am all about the Barefoot Contessa. I found it at a bargain store here in town for $165. The cheapest one I had ever found online was around $500. If you can find a deal like this, it is soooooo worth it!
Her name is Birdie.
Last week ordered a Sizzix Big Shot because of Ashley's recommendation . {Her blog is so beautiful. When my blog grows up it wants to be just like her's.} This thing is so cool! I had to MAKE myself not cut up every piece of fabric in the house because it is just so much fun.
Her name Trixie.
Last is my new {make-ur-blog-look-fancy-shmancy} Nikon D3100 camera that hubby surprised me with on Christmas Eve. I cried.
Her name is Salma, as in Salma Hayek, because she is dark and lovely. ;)
Ruthanne over at Eclectic Whatnot was having a sale last week and I ordered this pretty camera strap slip cover. I think Ruthanne must enjoy naming things too, because many of her slip covers are named after a female book/movie characters. So fun!
