We all want our kids to enjoy being home and to have sweet memories once they leave, but many times we (I) get so caught up in the day to day stuff that we forget about the big picture. I realized last week that I have been saying "No" a lot and I decided to do something about it. So this post will hopefully be the first of a series called "Saying Yes". Here is what I sad yes to last week...
My ladybug has been begging me to let her go walking in the rain. |
She was so excited when I said YES! |
Look at that smile on her face!
We were having watermelon slices one night with dinner and my youngest son asked if he could have the big quarter that I hadn't sliced yet. I said yes...
He looks a little wild here! LOL! He was very excited to tear into it! |
He LOVED it! |
and here is the dolly, just cuz she's so cute. ;) |
I definitely racked up some cool mom points this week and the joy on their faces has been priceless. So, what will YOU say yes to this week? :)
